Bolton seem to be taking a very understrength side to Spain after a 1-1 draw in the first match - and it looks like they're ready to accept elimination.
Bolton are struggling to avoid the drop in the Premier League and there is a big "6-pointer" at Wigan this weekend.
So Bolton flew out to Lisbon without almost a dozen first-team players left behind.
Kevin Davies, Matt Taylor, Andy O'Brien, Ivan Campo, El-Hadji Diouf and Ricardo Gardner all played in the first leg - but have been left in Bolton for this game.
Also Jussi Jaaskelainen and captain Kevin Nolan both missed last week's match with back injuries, and did not travel, while Gavin McCann is suspended and Tamir Cohen, Grzegorz Rasiak and Gretar Steinsson are ineligible.
Bolton boss Gary Megson was quoted as saying "The focus has to be on this Sunday's game. I have to think that way".
So Sporting Lisbon at 1.65 (
Interwetten ) is my play tonight - although be aware that Sporting Lisbon would also qualify with a 0-0 draw, or a 1-1 and extra time ... so there is always a risk of a cagey game.
Still - given the first game - and the change of teams and venue for this match - that does seem a good price.
