[Chappers]

Well thanks to the cricket I’ve just got up and missed most of the morning but it was worth it as England put themselves in control of the third test and they should now with three days left at least hopefully get at least a 300 lead and then also give themselves enough time to skittle New Zealand and win the match. However still three whole days left so I guess anything can happen yet.

Well now we move on to "Supper Sunday" or whatever the hell sky call it and two of the four football bets I have today. After yesterday breaking my own rule about betting just on game on the TV I’m going to try and stick to it, as without the bet on Villa I would have ended yesterday in profit. Well on today and I have two draws within the four games so of course all four bets coming in would be great but if I can get at least one of the draws to come home it will at least ensure that the day isn’t all bad.


The system of course has helped with the games today and even if my own thoughts say something I go with the system. But the system said Manchester United to win, Chelsea v Arsenal to draw, Real Madrid to win and Ath Bilbao and Gefete to draw and to be honest I cannot really argue with it and other than the last game that was my own thoughts anyway. As for the last Spanish game I would have normally gone overs to give me some interest in the game but the draw will do.

So with a full day of sport ahead of me and children running around it will be the usual Sunday in the Chappers household and what a fun day it will be.

Update

Day started great with a Man Utd win but then it all went wrong. Chelsea and Arsenal were about ten minutes away from the draw but then Chelsea goes and wins 2-1. Madrid when 2-2 had three chances that my 3 year old could have scored and ended up losing 3-2. Gefete lose 1-0 but hit the post in injury time. So one of those days.

At least England should go on and win the cricket and if Swansea win tomorrow that would take the total towards the £190 mark once more and when you consider all that has gone on this weekend to end the without a loss and maybe even a profit isn’t too bad. Since I started this on a Thursday then each Wednesday will be the end of my week and looking ahead, there maybe one more game on Tuesday night to end the week on.

Another end of day collapse by NZ has them 5 wickets down at stumps.

England should win this winithin two sessions now - the weather is still perfect (having a great summer over here) - and the Kiwi's only have 3 recognised batsmen left.

Well it's lunch on day four and England havent looked like really taking a wicket, so you could well be right and it could be a long hard 5 sessions but i still think that it will take one hell of an effort for NZ to bat 5 sessions. So it should be an interesting next session anyway, of I can stay up that long

regarding the Cricket - Hawkes Bay is a dead pitch - remember the 1-day match tied at 340 runs each??

And frankly before this match started I doubted whether we'd even see a fourth innings at all. However NZ proved that they can collapse better than England ... so we definately will now.

Keep an eye on that draw price - I reckon it's going to be hard work getting 10 wickets - and if England bat too long then they may regret it.
